Commissioning & Energy Services · Dallas–Fort Worth
Independent commissioning, retro-commissioning and energy services for hospitals, data centers and commercial buildings. We verify that HVAC, controls and plumbing systems work as intended, then tune them to cut energy use without disrupting operations.
Services
Every engagement is led personally by a Certified Commissioning Authority. We work directly for owners, or as a commissioning subconsultant to contractors and Cx firms.

Trend analysis, schedules, setpoints and resets, plus verification of pneumatic-to-DDC retrofits.
No- and low-cost energy measures, utility incentive application support, and TAB verification of air and hydronic systems.
Practical HVACR, hydronic and BAS training for facility staff, taught by a certified trade instructor.
Experience
Selected project experience of our principal, from four decades across Texas.
Experience shown was gained with prior firms. Project references are available on request.
How we work
Review drawings, sequences and records. Agree on objectives, systems and a not-to-exceed budget.
Trend the BAS, log data and functionally test the equipment in the field, not just on paper.
Prioritize findings by savings and payback, and track every issue through to closure.
Re-test, train your operators, and hand over a report your team can actually use.
About
Verified Building Performance is led by Christopher Christian, CxA, CBCP. His career started in 1981 as an HVAC service technician and pipefitter in Fort Worth. It continued through testing and balancing supervision, building automation, performance-contract M&V, and lead commissioning roles on hospitals, data centers and LEED Platinum buildings.
That hands-on background means problems get diagnosed at the equipment, where they start. Recommendations are ones your facility team can maintain, and nothing is buried in a binder.
We provide commissioning and building-performance services. We don't provide engineering design or sealed documents; design work is coordinated with licensed Texas professional engineers.
